Patient Recruitment

The Standardized Patient Program in the Academic Health Center at the University of Minnesota is recruiting individuals to participate in the education of students in all the professional health schools. We are looking for individuals of diverse ethnicity able to commit to scheduled activities. We have an increased need for individuals 18-50 years of age.

Trained participants are paid on an hourly basis and receive a transportation stipend. As part of our team, standardized patients will:

Role play medical cases for teaching and evaluation
Present their own medical history for student education and interview skill development
Participate in physical exam skill development

No previous experience is required. As you contribute to valued educational experiences, you will not be receiving actual medical care.

To learn more about the program, please contact Anne Woll, Standardized Patient Program Coordinator, at (612) 624-9691 or at wollx003@umn.edu.
